I was out helping Paul winterize the camper and boat this afternoon and we ran out of anti-freeze. When we left the pad and headed up our road we followed a flock of turkeys (about 30 birds). They were in no hurry so I got out and gobbled at them and followed them. They gobbled back and kept walking. There were several adults and quite a few teenagers.
Homer is full of surprises, this is my first turkey sighting!
