Finally making progress

Well the angiogram is finished and the decision is final. Paul needs another bypass surgery and the surgeon wants to do 4 or 5 bypasses.
Next step is see the new surgeon at his office and schedule the surgery.
Well, that was short and to the point, any questions?

Paul's next step

Paul had his treadmill stress test yesterday.
The doctor said he was surprised at how bad the circulation was in the heart. He said there are 3 areas of the heart that are suffering.

(Amazing coincidence that 3 of the 4 bypasses were closed off by the laser to stop the bleeding and 3 areas of the heart are having low blood flow.)

The next step is to have an angiogram to map the heart circulation so the heart surgeon knows where to go. He needs to know what's viable before he starts putting in new bypasses.

We're finally getting to the nitty-gritty. This should have been fixed with the first bypass surgery. Thankfully, they're giving us hope again.

Paul's health update

This morning we saw his cardiac doctor. The verdict is, he needs a treadmill stress test to find which areas of the heart are being affected. I guess that they will look at that area with an angiogram next.
Stress test is next Thursday, Feb. 19th. We don't get the results until Monday, Feb, 23rd.

Welcome Tyler Keith Wilson

This is my first glimpse at my new grandson.

Kelsey and Brian brought Tyler into the world Thursday afternoon in Paradise, California.

I missed the blessed event by 3 days.

Kelsey and Tyler will go home Friday to join his siblings: Michael, Hailey and Kyson.

How Tucson Travels

I thought you'd get a kick out of how Tucson chooses to travel. Sometimes she rides in the dash, sleeping in the sun. Other times she wants to ride the steering wheel so Paul can pet her. This time she slept on Paul's shoulder while he drove down the road. She is SPOILED!!!

Nevada and Utah

Monday afternoon we headed out of Paradise for Ely, Nevada. Paul's older brother lives near McGill. He and his wife built a log home on the Indian Reservation (she is Paiute). We spent 2 days and enjoyed getting to know them better and the peace and quiet of the hills. Delane is quite a bow hunter. She has trophy bear, mt. lion, wild boar, elk, deer, and numberless other animals.
The next stop is Hurricane, Utah at Jerry and Deb's house. They have been married about 2 years. Their home has the most amazing views out of every window. The picture is just one of the views from their house. The mountains, hills, and rocks are varied with color and texture. It's looks like an early spring or a false spring. There are grasses sprouting up on the hills and looking beautiful.
Today Paul and Jerry took a short motorcycle ride up around the reservoir and some of their land. The weather was good, 60ish but it's starting to cloud up now. They are quite a pair on matching Harley Davidson's. Both bikes are red Screamin Eagle V-Rods.
I got a call from home today and Mt. Redoubt still hasn't blown and now it's calming down and may not blow right away. Maybe it's waiting for us to get home, lol.
Next stop, Las Vegas!!!
