While on our way in to town the other day we found our mama moose and her two babies running up the road. I did get one quick picture of them on their daily walk.
Here is the first view of the outhouse. Paul got a crib built and inserted into the hole and built a box cover, onto which, to mount the structure. There is a double door on the front and in the back is a covered hole for the motorhome dump. We're "uptown" now.

Well, the grass is actually growing! This is the progress after just 2 weeks of waiting. (Well, actually, I was in Denver at Wil's for one week so I didn't have to wait the whole time, ha, ha).
As you can see, I also got my screen patio up and my eagle kite flying from a pole mounted on the ladder at the back of the coach.
We have had the most beautiful sunny days. Temperatures in the mid 70's and soft afternoon breezes. This is travel brochure weather! (Aren't you just dying to come up for a visit?)

Home Improvements

In the sprinkling rain the man sprays the 'front yard' with grass and wildflower seeds. Karen raked the 4,000sq ft area and Paul picked up the sticks and roots to make the yard clean and flat. Karen is sporting a couple broken blisters on her thumbs but anything worthwhile usually has a 'cost'.
You may have noticed that you can't see the mountains across the bay, that's because the clouds are so low and rainy.

Your comments are NEEDED

I have changed the criteria for comments. Now you can leave a comment without having a gmail account. If you're reading our Blog, would you please take a minute to leave a comment. Tell us what you like or don't like. (I'm kind of 'flying-blind' here as this is the first time we've tried this instead of so many separate e-mail letters to everyone)

If you don't have a gmail account and would like one, please e-mail me at karenspils@hotmail.com and I will get you an invite to gmail. It's free and will accept any size picture and unlimited storage. You never have to delete anything and it does e-mail searches for key words or names to find past letters and info. It's a great service and worth a try.

Thanks for your interest and time,
Karen
