Up close to these blossoms shows how close they grow on the stalks. It's kind of deceiving but these almost block the windows view of the Kachemak Bay. The lavender stalks are as tall as the windows. They grow bigger in Alaska!
This is a second marriage for both of us. We each had 7 children (5 girls and 2 boys) before we met and married. Now it's just the two of us traveling the world and living in Alaska. Oh, I didn't mean to slight the CAT, she thinks she's more important than anyone or anything else. Her name is Tucson and she's traveled about 80,000 miles, with us, in her short life.
